Vintage 2021 was momentous for our business - our return to a full vintage after the devastation of 2020. We're so excited to release to you our first wines of Vintage 2021.
We wanted to give you, our loyal customers, an update on these new release wines, how we've adapted while we rebuild our vineyard and on the outlook for The Islander Estate Vineyards.

2021 Pinot Gris
We're welcoming our crisp Pinot Gris back to our varietal range.
Pinot Gris (grey in French), popular in Alsace, has a reputation for being a little richer & more textural than its Italian cousin Pinot Grigio.
And our 2021 Pinot Gris stays true. It's fresh & flavourful with zesty acidity & elegant texture.
On the nose, it's floral & discreet with hints of lychee & rose petal. Fresh on the palate with flavours in the pear-zone, a round mouthfeel & a finish that's classic Pinot Gris zippy acidity.
Pair it with freshly caught King George Whiting served with a wedge of lemon.

2021 Sauv Blanc
If you're seeking a little more sophistication, this is your new white.
Sauv Blanc is a white variety of Jacques' native Bordeaux, where it's blended with Semillon in a light fruit-driven style.
Our 2021 Sauvignon Blanc lets Kangaroo Island Sauvignon Blanc take the spotlight.
Pale straw in colour; there's passionfruit, lime zest, citrus & sea spray on the nose. On the palate, it's delicate & aromatic with a light herbal note, citrus & tropical fruits. The finish has just the right amount of acidity to finish clean & crisp.
Serve with Thai flavours, garlic prawns or soft cheese.

2021 The Rose
Our incredibly popular Provence style Rose is
back in stock.
A favourite at our cellar door, The Rose is elegant, dry & delicious.
Made in the classic "Provence-style" of Southern France, The Rosé is dangerously easy to drink & our fastest selling wine.
Pale salmon in colour; on the nose, you'll find sherbet, strawberry & summer melons. On the palate, strawberries & cream, some peach notes with a light leesy grip adding complexity to the freshness.
Delicious with charcuterie, ratatouille, prawns, spicy Asian herbaceous salads.
