Our 360 Verdejo comes from the sun-drenched region of Rueda, the traditional home of the Verdejo grape in Spain. This grape produces beautifully aromatic and distinctive white wines. It is a true taste of its homeland, and through our collaboration with Manuel, we’ve been able to craft a wine that honours this heritage while embodying the 360 Wines spirit of discovery.
This wine is a true labour of love, handcrafted in very limited quantities to ensure every bottle is an authentic expression of the Verdejo grape. The grapes are hand-picked to preserve their delicate aromas and freshness. They are then hand pressed and fermented over two weeks in new French oak barrels. Aged in the same barrels for twelve months to build texture, body, and subtle complexity before blending, filtering and hand bottling.
For those unfamiliar with Verdejo, this carefully crafted wine offers a wonderfully refreshing and sophisticated alternative to more common varieties. It’s a wine that is both vibrant and complex, perfect for sharing on a warm afternoon or pairing with a special meal.
Aromatic Profile: On the nose, you'll discover an enticing bouquet of citrus, particularly grapefruit and lime, with subtle, intriguing herbal notes of bay leaf and fennel.
On the Palate: The first sip reveals a crisp, dry, full-bodied and beautifully textured wine. It has a delightful mineral acidity and a surprising depth of flavour that carries through to a long, elegant finish. A hallmark of high-quality Verdejo is a faint, pleasant bitterness, a unique characteristic that adds complexity and leaves you wanting more.
While a pleasure to enjoy on its own, our 360 Verdejo truly shines alongside food. Its bright acidity and aromatic character make it a wonderfully versatile partner at the dining table.
Seafood: A classic and perfect match. Try it with freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns, or a delicate piece of pan-seared fish.
Spanish-Inspired Dishes: Embrace its origins by pairing it with tapas, such as garlic prawns (gambas al ajillo), or a classic paella.
Lighter Fare: Its freshness beautifully complements fresh salads, chicken dishes with herbs, and creamy pasta.
Cheese: Enjoy it with a plate of hard cheeses like Manchego or a soft, fresh goat's cheese.
If you are ready to explore beyond the familiar and discover a wine with a unique story and exceptional character, we invite you to experience our 360 Verdejo. It’s more than just a wine; it’s a celebration of global connections, shared passion, and the exciting journey that begins with a single vine.
